Recently, heroine Samantha Ruth Prabhu received a personalized message from actor-director Rahul Ravindran. As a reply, Samantha posted ” ♥️ @rahulr_23 Thankyou To those of you fighting hard battles, this one’s for you as well. Keep fighting… we’ll be stronger than ever… and stronger forever soon” on her Instagram account.
The powerful message from Rahul reads as “Woman of Steel…The tunnel is dark and there’s no end in sight. It was promised, but there’s no sign of the light. Your feet are heavy, but you drag them with all your might. You soldier on while dousing your doubts and fright. You’re made of steel and this conquest is your birthright. You keep walking and soon the sun will shine bright. You will not be denied and these delays are alright because quitters don’t, only fighters like you win the fight…Because what doesn’t defeat you…makes you stronger than ever…And stronger forever.” Not many are aware that Samantha and Rahul Ravindran acted together in the 2010 Tamil film, Moscowin Kaveri. Later, Samantha made a cameo appearance in Rahul’s 2019 directional film, Manmadhudu 2.
It is well-known that Samantha opened up about her health condition a few months back. In her social media post, Sam said that she is suffering from an autoimmune condition called Myositis. Currently, she is undergoing treatment for the disease. Reportedly, to escape side effects from the English medicine, Samantha has tilted towards Ayurvedic medicine for her further treatment.
On the professional front, Samantha has a project titled, Kushi co-starring Vijay Deverakonda in the lead role at the filming stage. The film’s shoot will resume shooting soon after Samantha recovers. Being bankrolled by Mythi Movie Makers banner, the film has music by Malayalam musician Hesham Abdul Wahab. Shiva Nirvana is the director.
The star actress also has a period drama titled, Shaakuntalam under the direction of Gunasekhar at the post-production stage. The film is likely to hit the screens in the summer of 2023. Along with Gunasekhar, Dil Raju is bankrolling the high-budget movie.
