Samantha’s Shaakunthalam officially launched

Gunasekhar who takes his own time to direct movies has launched his next after a gap of six years. After Rudhrama Devi, Gunasekhar is back with the project Shaakunthalam which is based on the story of Adi Parva in Mahabharatam. Samantha will be seen in the title of Shakunthala. Malayalam actor Dev Mohan will be seen in the role of King Dushyanth.

The movie got officially launched today at the specially erected set in Annapurna Studios. Dil Raju has joined the team and he will be presenting the flick while Gunasekhar himself is producing it. Mani Sharma will be the music composer. The regular shooting of Shaakunthalam will kickstart next week.

Gunasekhar is confident about the project and he is all smiling at the launch of the movie. More details will be out very soon.
