Samantha and Sharwanand have agreed to be a part of the Telugu remake of 96 and we have reported about the movie, earlier. But the official confirmation arrived on Republic Day from the production house.
C. Prem Kumar, the original maker has been roped in as director and writers from Telugu states have been roped in to work with him to change the script according to Telugu people’s tastes without weakening the original’s impact.
Movie production will start in March and the production house is looking to release the film by July-August period, which will be a perfect season for such a romantic film.
Dil Raju is producing the film and he is highly confident in it working at the box office in Telugu too. Same music director from Tamil, Govind Menon is going to work on this project too.
