Samanthakamani is a rare multi-starrer from our Telugu Film Industry that boasts of a great camaraderie between the actors like Sudheer Babu, Nara Rohit, Sundeep Kishan and Aadi Saikumar. All four of them are coming together for the first time and they are impressed by the script and work of the young director, Sriram Adittya. The young director impressed Telugu audience with his movie, Bhale Manchi Roju. Now he is coming with a heist movie, Samanthakamani, that runs around a car and four youngsters.
Sudheer Babu said, “I enjoyed working with each and every one in the cast and this movie is written for characters and not heroes. Had it tried to place heroes according to their images and strengths it could have struggled but as it had well realised characters, I was happy to be part it. At first I had apprehensions to do a multi-starrer but the script blew me away and I took up the character that Sriram chose for me.” Aadi Saikumar too shared similar opinion about the movie and he said, “ I wasn’t apprehensive but I wanted my director to be absolutely clear about my character in the film.
“I wanted to feed off from his energy and go ahead with my character as I wasn’t sure if I am right one for the character. But as he showed lot of confidence in me I took it up as a challenge and tried to deliver my best in the film. I think citing us up against each other has made us more competitive.” Sundeep Kishan said, “ It is evident that we all are taking something from the movie and being a part it is a learning experience.” The movie is slated for a release on 14th of July.
