A video interview on Yasodha movie of star heroine Samantha is out this morning. In the little more than twenty minutes recorded video, Samantha is seen talking about her career, health condition and regarding Yasodha movie.
When anchor Suma asked how the project happened ( Yasodha movie), Samantha said she usually won’t say yes to any project instantly but for Yasodha, I was in shock after listening to the script narrated by the director duo Hari-Harish and accepted to do the film without any second thought. The talented heroine also expressed confidence that the audience will also feel the same what she felt after watching the film.
Revealing about her health condition, Samantha said “High dose of medications, exhausting days, never ending trips to doctors. I think it’s okay some days are hard, it’s okay to not be your best, be vulnerable, be sick”. Talking about the life threatening social media articles, “I don’t think those headlines were very necessary. Yes, it is difficult. I’m still here and I have to fight”, said Sam. She also requested everyone to give her little space to live and bounce back stronger.
Coming back to Yasodha, this said-to-be sci-fi emotional drama is bankrolled by Sivalenka Krishna Prasad. Alongside Samantha, Yasodha also stars Varalakshmi Sarathkumar and Unni Mukundan in key roles. Senior musician Mani Sharma composed score for the movie.
