Samantha is now established to return to Bollywood with the upcoming spy thriller series Citadel. The project celebrates Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s reunion with The Family Man director pair Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK. The Citadel team newly wrapped up the Nainital schedule of the project, which will be Samantha’s first onscreen collaboration with Bollywood star Varun Dhawan. The Indian version of the international series Citadel will feature two top Indian actors in the lead roles, Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Varun Dhawan. Previously, in an interview, the show directors hinted at Samantha’s position and said this might be one of her most challenging roles.
Samantha took to her official Instagram and shared a couple of pictures. In one of the pictures, Samantha Ruth Prabhu is seen posing for a selfie with directors Raj and DK. She also shared a photo of leading man Varun Dhawan with the director team as they returned to Mumbai on the flight.
On the work front, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who wrapped up the shooting of the schedule of Citadel, is already back to work. The famous star has renewed shooting her highly anticipated romantic drama, Kushi. The crew members, including leading Vijay Deverakonda and the cast and crew members, gave a grand welcome to the actress by arranging a party for her on the film sets.
