Heroine Samantha Ruth Prabhu has been going on spritual trips for the past few years. An announcing seperation with her husband Naga Chaitanya, Samantha has been going on devotional tours in search of inner peace and happiness.
Falling the same trend, Samantha offered prayers at Palani Murugan temple located in Tamil Nadu. Reportedly, she climbed six hundred steps and reach the temple premises which is located at remote village. It is widely known that Samantha suffered from an autoimmune condition called Myositis. She even underwent for the treatment by giving break to the film shootings.
Recently, Samantha resumed the shooting of her upcoming Hindi web series Citadel. Co-starring Varun Dhawan in a key role, Citadel is said to be an official remake of the Russo Brothers’ American show, Citadel. The Indian version is being helmed by The Family Man fame director duo Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK for Amazon Prime.
Apart from Citadel, Samantha has a project titled, Kushi co-starring Vijay Deverakonda in the lead role in kept on hold. The film’s shoot will resume shooting soon after Samantha gives call sheets. Being bankrolled by Mythi Movie Makers banner, the film has music by Malayalam musician Hesham Abdul Wahab. Shiva Nirvana is the director. The star actress also has a period drama titled, Shaakuntalam under the direction of Gunasekhar scheduled for April 14th release. Along with Gunasekhar, Dil Raju bankrolled this high-budget movie.
