Samantha Akkineni has made it apparent that she will be more choosy after marriage. She said that she may do less films but she will continue acting. In Rangasthalam, she did do the character of a village belle and in the film, she needed to be rough and tough. She did not scare away that the people will be judging her if she does such a lead role. The actress maintained that she will continue acting even if she becomes mother.
She said, “I will not be detracted by social media trolls who try to tell me what pictures I should upload andvjow should I be. It is my life and I would be happy to live it the best possible way I feel comfortable. My family is extremely supportive. Mainly, my father-in-law, likes me to continue acting and he is the one who decided to talk to everyone whoever were trying to discourage me. Because of him, I am freely able to do what I like. My husband, Naga Chaitanya is super cool with my choices and in that way, I am lucky.”
She talked about Mahanati and Abhimanudu, her next releases. She said, “Mahanati is a completely different experience. I play a brahmin girl who goes against the wishes of her family to become a career oriented person. She sets out on a journey to unveil Savitri and gives her a great tribute. In Abhimanyudu, my role is just an eye-candy. I have a part to play in the story and I won’t reveal it just now.”
