A project in the combination of Vijay Deverakonda and director Shiva Nirvana was formally announced a couple of months back. News also came out that Samantha will be doing the female lead role in the movie.
Meanwhile, the latest we hear is that the makers have first approached happening Bollywood beauty Kiara Advani for the female lead in the movie but as she rejected the offer due to lack of call sheets the team went ahead with Samantha. Currently, the pre-production work for this as-yet-untitled film is going on at a fast pace.
On the other hand, Vijay who recently wrapped up the shooting for Liger will be kick-starting the shooting for Jana Gana Mana from next month itself. Puri Jagannadh is the director for both Liger and Jana Gana Mana.
