Samantha going against popular beliefs?

Samantha Akkineni is one of the most talented actresses in the country, who has time and again proven her acting talent in various films. She was recently seen in The Family Man 2, where she portrayed a negative character and impressed the audience. Samantha is currently shrouded in several speculations and rumours of a potential divorce with her husband Akkineni Naga Chaitanya.

On the other hand, while she is on a break from films, for now, it is also being said that the actress has decided to not work in Telugu films anymore. Among the several speculations going around about her, it is now being said that Samantha has signed a new film under the Sridevi movies banner, which is known for films like Aditya 369, Nani’s Gentleman, Sudheer Babu’s Sammohanam, among many others.

The film is said to be a female-oriented one, and the official confirmation of the same is expected to be given out soon. It is now to be seen if this turns out to be true, or if this is also just speculation. Samantha will be seen in director Gunasekhar’s Shaakuntalam, where she will be playing the titular role.
