Samantha Akkineni and Naga Chaitanya Akkineni have married last October. Samantha revealed that she and Naga Chaitanya won’t talk about films in their leisure time. She said, “Naga Chaitanya always complaints that I don’t normally spend much time with him. Post marriage, I became even busier and he too is highly busy. We took a small vacation and went to USA, to just find some relief from all the stress of his shoots and mine, mainly, Rangasthalam.”
She continued, “I have a new reputation now, as Akkineni girl. I need to adhere to that. So, I choose films carefully and also follow some of the work ethics they follow. On Sunday, my family prefers to meet up and talk. So, I learnt to keep every Sunday free. Also, after six they don’t shoot and I too, follow it. We have to take care of our health while working and Cinema is just a part of life, not entire life. As I follow these things, Naga Chaitanya is highly happy. We don’t talk about movies in general but as we are starting a new one together, I would like to get my way in that.”
Well, Samantha Akkineni with Rangasthalam entered the 3 Million USD club too. She is the only actress in South Indian Cinema, to have so many films that collected Million Dollars in North America and she is extremely happy about this achievement. She said,”I should thank my writers and directors for making such good films.” Her fans started trending #13MillionDollarBabySamantha on social media. The cumulative gross of all her films in USA and Canada, is 13 Million USD. An unique record indeed.
