After a gap of three years or so, director Nandin Reddy is back with a bang with Oh Baby, and she is a bit nervous, excited and curious to know how the feedback from the audience would be. Remaking a film is definitely not easy, as we have to live up to the expectations of the makers of the original film without running it anywhere.
For the first time ever in her career, Nandini Reddy has made a remake. Talking about the experience of making this film, she said, “It was an amazing journey and the whole team has been a wonderful part of it. All of us worked hard and it has come out really well. Though we are still a bit tensed up, we hope the audience will like it.”
Asking about the cast and on how she chose everyone, she said, “I did not choose Samantha. Instead, she chose me. Samantha was on board much before than me and she was the one who suggested my name to Sunitha. Talking about others, I think we got the best cast we would get for this remake. Sometimes, you will definitely wonder whether you are watching Samantha or Lakshmi garu on screen. They look so much similar to each other.”
