Salman Khan Locked a 5 Year OTT Deal for His Film!

Salman Khan has reportedly signed a strong 5-year agreement with an OTT platform despite his film’s subpar box office performance.

For more than three decades, Salman Khan has ruled the entertainment sector like a boss. Despite the highs and lows of his career, he is still in his current position. The most recent example is the superstar, who apparently managed to win a large OTT deal despite Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’s poor box office results.

Salman reportedly joined Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan as a producer after Sajid Nadiadwala apparently withdrew. The movie, which had well-known actors, did well on its initial weekend but then lost momentum. Nevertheless, it was able to bring in 110 crores in India. This is pure stardom, and the Tiger 3 star is receiving respectable offers as a result.

As per reports, Salman Khan and the OTT service Zee5 have agreed to a significant 5-year contract. Through this agreement, all of Salman’s next films (starting in January) will get satellite rights on the platform. The first movie released under this agreement will be Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. As YRF has already secured a lucrative arrangement with another OTT platform, it is interesting to note that Tiger 3 will not be included in this agreement.

Despite all the unfavourable reviews, Salman Khan’s Radhe also had its world premiere on Zee5, and the movie set new records there. It is said that the actor made a huge 400–500 crores from a contract of a similar nature the last time. Even while the latest deal’s price is being kept a secret, it won’t surprise us if Salman was able to secure a far higher sum this time.
