Kapil Sharma’s Kap’s Cafe in Canada has been attacked twice within a month, raising major security concerns. The latest shooting occurred on Thursday, with around 25 bullets fired, damaging the cafe but causing no injuries.
A new audio message, allegedly from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, links the attacks to Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s appearance on The Great Indian Kapil Show.
The gangster warned that anyone in the film industry seen supporting Salman would be targeted and even hinted at possible attacks in Mumbai.
Salman appeared in the first episode of Season 3 which aired on June 21. Indian security agencies are investigating but haven’t verified the audio’s authenticity. They noted Salman’s appearance was weeks before the latest attack.
Goldy Dhillon, a Bishnoi gang member wanted for several crimes, claimed responsibility for the second attack via social media.
