Rohit Roy recently discussed the guidance Salman Khan gave him before getting his Kaabil part.

The younger brother of actor Ronit Roy and a well-known figure in the television industry, Rohit Roy has also made a few Bollywood film appearances. In a recent interview, the actor described going through a time where he became dissatisfied with the job he was getting to do on Indian television and how Salman Khan threatened to stop giving him work while calling him a “fat cow” and criticising him for gaining weight.

With more than a million followers on social media, Rohit has a sizable fan base. The actor frequently shares glimpses of his exercises, and although being over 50, he has kept up a decent body and never misses an occasion to inspire young people to pursue fitness ambitions.

Speaking with Siddharth Kannan, Rohit Roy related a story about how he met Salman Khan at the Celebrity Cricket League event in Ahmedabad and expressed to the actor his dissatisfaction with the type of work he was receiving in the entertainment business.

Rohit Roy said, “I had put on a lot of weight; I was getting frustrated because things were not working out.” He added, “I told Salman that I’m not happy. I’m trying my best, but things are not happening, and he looked at me and said you look like a fat cow; even I wouldn’t give you any work.”

Salman Khan spent the entire night talking with the Kaabil actor, who stated, “Everything he shared with me that day led to my complete metamorphosis physically.” When I was 45 or 46 years old, I made the decision that I wanted to reach the age of 50 as the sexiest man alive, and it came true. “He said you either be like this, or you keep fighting,” he added in conclusion. Although I didn’t exactly look horrible, he could see that I was capable of more. And after taking the famous person’s advice, Rohit ended up in the Hrithik Roshan movie Kaabil.
