Young Rebel star Prabhas is busy with back to back shootings of various films at this point. He has become one of the busiest actors in India currently and is starring in some of the biggest projects in the country right now – Adipurush, Salaar, Radhe Shyam, and his film with Nag Ashwin.
There are several rumours going around about Salaar’s story. Salaar is directed by Prashant Neel of KGF fame, and there are good expectations on the film already, given the way Prashant showcases his heroes. While on one hand it is being said that Salaar has a mining backdrop, it is now being said that Prabhas will be seen in dual roles in Salaar, where he plays the father, and the son, much like in Baahubali.
It is also being said that Salaar has a 1970 backdrop, which is set in the state of Mysore, and the other set up will be in the current timeline. Salaar is said to be a power-packed vengeance story, set in the mafia world. If that’s the case, then the story of Salaar would also be very much like that of Saaho, which was also a story of vengeance, of a son, against the ones who did his father wrong. It is now to be seen which version of these rumours will turn out to be true, or if none of them will turn out to be true.
