Prabhas’s latest action packed film Salaar, has been creating new records at the box office, smashing records in just five days since its release. Icon star Allu Arjun’s ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’ held the previous non-Rajamouli record with a worldwide share of 160Cr.
Salaar, however, broke this milestone in a remarkably short time, crossing 150Cr within four days and finally breaking the Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’s record in just five days. The Telugu version of Salaar alone collected around 155Cr in its initial days, showcasing an exceptional performance at the box office.
The movie is on track to surpass 200Cr share in the Telugu market over the upcoming weekend, joining the exclusive league of 200Cr+ films alongside Baahubali 2 and RRR.
Given its strong momentum and incredible reception, Salaar is anticipated to reach the breakeven point in Telugu soon, especially if it maintains its extraordinary performance into the second weekend, similar to its stellar run during the first weekend. Salaar’s rapid success in the Telugu industry, swiftly overtaking previous records, hints at its potential to become a significant milestone and a blockbuster hit.
