Currently, pan-India star Prabhas has multiple projects in the pipeline. One among them is Salaar, a high-voltage action thriller under the direction of KGF fame Prashant Neel. The film went on the floors in last January and even wrapped up a couple of action based schedules.
Meanwhile, the latest news is that Malayalam actor Prithviraj Sukumaran is doing a key role in the movie. Confirming the same, Prabhas at the promotional event for his upcoming film, Radhe Shyam revealed the news. Being bankrolled by Hombale Films banner, the makers are planning to split the film into two parts.
Co-starring Shruti Haasan as the female lead, Salaar also has Jagapathi Babu in a crucial role. Prabhas is expected to resume the shooting for Salaar from next month. Will the idea of roping in other language actors in a action thriller like Salaar yield fruitful result? Remains to be seen.
