Salaar and KGF Not Linked, Director Confirms

Prashanth Neel, the highly sought-after director in the southern film industry, has garnered immense attention with upcoming projects like KGF 3 and Salaar 2, elevating his brand value significantly. Salaar, slated for release soon, has piqued curiosity among fans, prompting questions about its connection to the KGF franchise.

In a recent interview, Prashanth Neel disclosed that Salaar is a tale centered around two friends turning into arch-rivals, spanning across two separate parts. He unequivocally clarified that Salaar and KGF exist in distinct realms, asserting, “There is no link between KGF and Salaar. They are different worlds with distinct emotional narratives, albeit equally strong in action and emotion.”

Regarding Salaar 2, Neel hinted at plans but remained cautious about setting exact timelines due to logistical considerations. He expressed optimism about commencing filming soon but refrained from committing to specific dates. The movie boasts a stellar cast including Prabhas, Prithviraj, and Shruti Haasan in pivotal roles, backed by Hombale Films, the production house behind the successful KGF series.
