Puri Jagannadh after a lot of struggle achieved success as a director with Badri. He continued on his merry ways with films like Idiot, Amma Nanna O Tamil Ammayi, Itlu Shravani Subramanyam, Shivamani. During this period, he introduced his brother SaiRam Shankar as lead actor in 143. But the movie did not become a success as expected. Since then, SaiRam Shankar kept trying different subjects in the supervision of his brother. Still he did not get the big break that he is looking for. He got a decent money spinner with Bumper Offer and then started trying again with other makers but even Krushna Vamsi and Teja could not give the break that he is looking for.
But he is somehow finding producers and new directors to find that one good break as a lead actor. With Demonetization, he was nervous to release his movie Araku Road lo, but the success of Ekkadikipothavu Chinnavada made him confident about the good content attracting audience to theatres and he is basing his confidence on the belief that his movie has good enough content to bring audience to theatres. Araku Road Lo, the thriller is releasing this December 2nd and the movie has a interesting premise and some good actors in the movie. Nikeesha Patel is playing the lead actress in the movie. Even actors like Prabhas promoted the movie and this movie seems to be a good break for SaiRam after so many attempts.
