Saira Banu Writes a Lovely Note for Sunil Dutt and Dilip Kumar’s Friendship

Saira Banu once sent a touching letter highlighting the wonderful friendship between Dilip Kumar and Sunil Dutt.

Saira Banu posted a wonderful photo of Dilip Kumar and Sanjay Dutt on Instagram. The seasoned actress wrote a lovely remark while sharing the picture. She wrote, “I am joyous as I share stories and moments that Sahib shared and lived with people that he called friends. Sahib was known to be a lovable and caring person but only a few people knew that he was a great friend too…one of them was Sunil Dutt.”

She continued by saying that these famous actors were not only neighbours but also best friends. She described them as “great icons” who never “isolated themselves in their own luxurious lives” but rather constantly came to the assistance of the film fraternity, regardless of the situation or the state of the industry as a whole.

Her post continued after that. Saira Banu recalled a previous event in which Dutt took a walking stick to Dilip Kumar’s residence to greet him Eid Mubarak despite suffering a tragic plane crash on his way back from a function in Shirpur, Maharashtra. She stated, “This was the greatness and unity of Dutt Sahab.”
