Plot : Rao (Murali Sharma) is an egoistic businessman who believes world should play by his rules and can’t bear any kind of opposition to his words and ideas. Chaitanya (Naga Chaitanya) tries to solve the issues created by his father with great level of patience.
Anu (Anu Emmanuel) who is an egoist shifts to the same colony that Chaitu lives. Chaitu falls in love with her and he makes even Anu understand his love and her love towards him. The problem arises with two egotistic parents of the couple. Even Anu’s mother Shailaja Reddy (Ramyakrishnan) is an egoist and she doesn’t like any kind of domination from men over women. How will Chaitu bring the two families together and even ends the daughter-mother fight forms the rest of the story!
Performances : Naga Chaitanya is improving film to film and his body language while acting is also changing with each film. His dancing and action skills have improved too. But he did not get enough scenes to shine from the script and that is the major drawback from the film.
Ramyakrishnan is good in her scenes. But her character is not designed well enough. Even though her fight with her daughter connects to the main plot that doesn’t serve the entire purpose in the script and hence, her performance also looks inconsistent.
Anu Emmanuel looked beautiful and she wore mostly sarees to go with. That made her look different and special in the film. Vennela Kishore managed to come up with few good punches. All others underwhelm due to lack of well defined characters.
Technicalities : Nizar Shafi, the cinematographer of the film decided to light the scenes bright and colorful to make everything look rich. But there is nothing that shows his signature in the visuals.
Gopi sundar gave good BGM and two songs are really good. But the composer overall disappoints with his effort as he did not deliver on the high expectations he created for himself.
Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao made a cut that is highly inconsistent throughout the runtime. He couldn’t balance the different scenes well to make us feel there is a good flow.
Maruthi Dasari, the director of the film decided to concentrate on same formula that gave him hits like Bhale Bhale Mogadivoy, Mahanubhavudu here too. He tried to create characters and create humor among them. But his writing is underwhelming for the standards he has set for himself. Still he came up with good laughable scenes here and there.
Analysis : The movie tries to follow the clichés without any second thoughts and that became the major problem of the movie. Even though there are characters, they don’t look well realised and we feel like watching a serial that drags on at few places. Still, Maruthi kept the proceedings crisp for major part of the film with healthy doses of comedy. Predictability of the story makes it a one time watch.
