Saif Ali Khan Was Attacked In Scuffle Trying To Protect Domestic Help

In a shocking incident, a burglary was reported at the Mumbai house of Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan in the early hours of Thursday, leaving the actor hospitalised with multiple stab injuries. As per a report in HT, the intruder barged into his Bandra home at 2:30 am and inflicted knife wounds on his neck, near his spine, and four other places on his body.

The same report also stated that the Devara actor was attacked with a knife when he attempted to protect and shield his domestic help from the intruder.

Meanwhile, news agency ANI quoted a Mumbai police source, stating, “An unknown person entered Actor Saif Ali Khan’s residence and argued with his maid, late last night. When the actor tried to intervene and pacify the man, he attacked Saif Ali Khan and injured him. Police are investigating the matter.”

The source further said that Saif was disturbed by the commotion that took place as the intruder argued with his help, and he tried to intervene. He then attacked both with a knife, and Saif shielded his help and tried to defend himself. The intruder then fled the scene. Meanwhile, the police are unsure if the actor was attacked deliberately or in the quarrel.

Saif’s wife, actor Kareena Kapoor, and their two sons were also in the house at the time of the assault. His older son, Ibrahim Ali Khan, reached his house and took the actor to the Lilavati Hospital, where he has undergone a surgery.
