Sai Pallavi’s comments about Ravana at the Los Angeles premiere of Ramayana have sparked a debate on social media, with people sharing different opinions.
Sai Pallavi attended the grand premiere with Ranbir Kapoor, Yash and Namit Malhotra. During a red-carpet interaction, she spoke about the film’s visuals, technical work and its role in introducing Indian culture to international audiences.
She also explained how the epic could make people think about their actions and understand right and wrong.
Sai said Ravana was not entirely bad and that everyone should identify and overcome their negative qualities. While some netizens criticised her remarks others defended her, saying they were taken out of context.
Ramayana releases worldwide on November 5th.
