Actress Sai Pallavi, after a break of one and a half years, has signed up for a new Telugu movie called “Thandel.” This film stars Naga Chaitanya as the male lead. The muhurat ceremony for Thandel took place recently, and the regular shoot is set to commence on December 15 in a village near Gokarna, Karnataka.
Directed by Chandoo Mondeti, Thandel’s director, in a recent media interaction, shed light on Sai Pallavi’s role in the movie. Her character portrays a rural woman from Srikakulam and has various layers to it. Chandoo revealed that her character deeply loves Naga Chaitanya’s character but also stands firm on her rights, displaying a fierce side at times.
Chandoo further mentioned that Sai Pallavi dedicated herself to perfecting the Srikakulam dialect for her role, attending a special workshop. He was notably impressed by her effortless grasp of the new dialect and her dedication to understanding her character deeply. “Thandel” is being produced by Bunny Vas under Allu Aravind’s presentation.
Sai Pallavi’s portrayal as a strong-willed, rustic woman deeply in love and fierce in her convictions promises an intriguing performance, with her commitment to authenticity shining through her efforts to capture the essence of her character’s roots.
