Sai Pallavi with Santhanam?

Santhanam the famous tamil comedian who rocked telugu audience too with his one liners and sarcastic humor in movies like Manmadha, Nene Ambani, OKOK. He was voiced by famous comedians like Ali, Sunil and Uttej. His comic timing and punches have made him so popular that he created a separate fanbase for himself in Tamil and Telugu as well.Like Sunil, he also transitioned into lead actor and saw success with movies like Dilluku Duddu, Inimiye Ippadithan, Kanna Laddu Tina Aasaya and Maryadaramanna remake Vallavanuku pullam Aayudham. He established himself as a safe bet comic hero transforming himself into an action hero physique. He is now busy completing the post production of his next movie titled after legendary comedian Nagesh’s breakthrough classic, Server Sundaram. In the movie Santhanam will be a server who becomes a Chef.

Taking giant strides as an actor, Santhanam now confirmed a movie with creative filmmaker Sri Raghava alias Selva Raghavan. Selva Raghavan is the director of famous 7/G Brindavan Colony, Yuganiki Okkadu and Varna. Selva is currently busy wrapping the post production works of SJ Surya starrer Nenjam Marappathillai. After this he would start directing Santhanam and will proceed to delayed Kaan with Simbu as the lead actor.

According to the sources, Sai Pallavi is in consideration for the lead role opposite Santhanam. Sai Pallavi shot to fame as Malar with Premam and she worked in Kali with Dulquer Salmaan. She turned down Mani Ratnam’s Kaatru Veliyidai as she felt uncomfortable with some love scenes. She is now working with Varun Tej in Shekar Kammula’s direction. Santhanam is the most popular comedian after Nagesh, Vadivelu, Goundamani, Vivek. Like his predecessors he also turned into a lead actor but he looks to be making all right moves learning from their mistakes. If he continues to be successful as a hero may be some lessons to be learnt for our star comedian turned hero Sunil too!
