Sai Pallavi is known as a sweet heart and she has won many hearts in Malayalam Cinema with her debut film, Premam. Post that she waited for good scripts from Tamil and Telugu Cinema. She even rejected Mani Ratnam’s Kaatru Veliyidai/Cheliyaa when she thought she is uncomfortable with the story. The actress accepted Shekar Kammula’s Fidaa and got a huge name as Bhanumathi. Now, she is doing MCA with Nani.
During the shooting of Premam, she had an encounter with Butterflies and she shared it with all of us. She said, “During our shoot for a song, we were in a garden filled with beautiful plants and trees. Suddenly, a flock of butterflies arrived and In started playing with them. Cameraman captured those shots and we have the famous sequence from the movie.”
She continued, “Director asked me to catch one Butterfly and hold it until, we release it for the camera. I got scared if it may hold it too tight and kill it, until I released it. Finally, I felt releaved once it flew off and I requested the director to never ask me do that again. It is highly difficult to imagine that we may hurt such innocent beings and I say the same to all my co-stars as well.” Really, she is a sweetheart, isn’t she?
