Sai Pallavi has become the latest sensation in Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu Cinema. She made a sensational debut as Malar teacher, in Premam and as the movie ran in Chennai for more than 250 days, she got huge fan following and offers from Tamil Cinema. She decided to complete her Medicine in Georgia and then continue in Films. She got offers from Mani Ratnam and Shekar Kammula.
She decided to go with Shekar Kammula’s script and Fidaa became a huge success. Next second film in Telugu, MCA, Middle-Class Abbayi with Nani also became a huge success. Now, her third film in Telugu, Kanam and the first film in Tamil, Karu, a bilingual, is releasing in March. The movie is a horror story surrounding a young married couple, who decide to abort their baby. Naga Shaurya is acting as the male lead in this film.
“Sai Pallavi initially rejected my offer to do this movie after Premam. She did not want to act in Horror movies. After a year, I again approached her with the full bound script and she got convinced due to the emotion in the film. We tried to play on the emotions of the characters and she found it extremely interesting to be a part of this film,” said the director of the film, A.L Vijay. The movie is scheduled to release in the second week of March as of now. Sai Pallavi is now busy shooting for her next film in the direction of Hanu Raghavapudi.
