Sai Pallavi, got great fame with her debut as Malar in the movie, Premam. The girl wanted to complete her Masters in Medicine in US before joining the films after participating in several dance reality shows. But when Premam director, Alphonse Puthiren offered her the role, she could not resist and the production took place around the time she is available. She then acted in Kali in Malayalam with Dulquer Salmaan and later, rejected Mani Ratnam’s ‘Cheliyaa’ as she gave more importance to study for her exams.
Now, she has completed her graduation and she is looking to make a solid comeback into films. For that she chose debuting in Telugu with Fidaa in the direction of Shekar Kammula. The film is about the love story of a Telangana girl and an NRI guy. NRI guy is played by Varun Tej and Telangana girl by Sai Pallavi. The theatrical trailer released recently, crossed 6.6 million views and the team is happy with the buzz surrounding the movie.
The songs will be released soon and the release date of the movie will also be announced by the production team in the coming days. Varun Tej is thrilled about the movie and Shekar Kammula has taken extra care in getting the Telangana dialect right for the movie. He also made Sai Pallavi dub for her role and sat with her during the dubbing for her to get the diction right. Sai Pallavi will be playing the ardent fan of Pawan Kalyan in the movie and there are several sequences depicting her love for the actor in the trailer as well. The sources revealed that the movie will be a fresh take on love and it will be a mesmerising ride for everyone aboard.
