Sai Pallavi has captured the imagination of youth in Southern India with her cute acting as Malar in Premam. With movie becoming a sensational hit among all over India, the actress became a favourite among the makers like Mani Ratnam and even in Telugu she is doing a film with Varun Tej in the direction of Shekhar Kammula.
She has two other movies in Malayalam and Tamil in production. Manjula, elder sister of Mahesh Babu has been more popular for her passion towards cinema. She never gave up on her passion even though Superstar Krishna fans reacted opposing her decision. She produced movies like Nani, Pokiri with Mahesh and Ye Maaya Chesave with Naga Chaitanya. She stopped production has her brother, Mahesh himself started a production house himself.
She and her husband Sanjay, were seen acting in few films in older roles but she started concentrating on writing her ideas for film and directing them. Gemini Kiran, who produced movies like Avunu Valliddaru Ishtapaddaru, Nuvvu Nenu, Snehitudu is producing the movie. The movie is said to be a new love story with two strong characters featuring Sandeep Kishan as the lead actor. The search for lead actress is still on and the discussions have begun with Sai Pallavi. Well, the shooting is expected to start from February and if the movie becomes a hit, then she could direct her brother Mahesh for his 28th in 2019.
