Sai Karthik tunes for Anil Ravipudi and Ravi Teja film.

Anil Ravipudi is one young director who believes in a collaborative team effort and doesn’t really look to change his team from film to film. In fact these days there are many directors and producers who prefer to not disrupt a working combination however different their subjects might be and whatever new combinations they might be attempting. The core team won’t change. This kind of successful collaborations have been nothing new for Telugu Cinema as many writer director, Music director and director combinations were quite common. In early days, S Rajeswara Rao and Adurti Subba Rao was a combination. Then Adurti Subba Rao – K.V. Mahadevan became a combination. Similarly, Pendyala Nageswara Rao and K.V. Reddy became a combination after Pedda Manushulu and Jagadeeka Veeruni Kadha.

After that Chakravarthy became go to music director for many commercial directors and big films during 70’s and 80’s. But as a combination from early 90’s to till date M.M Keeravani and Raghavendra Rao has been the long standing and most successful in Telugu Cinema. The director- Music director combination has given many musical hits spanning films of different genres like commercial, mythological, devotional, love stories, action dramas and many more. Except for one or two films Raghavendra Rao has been collaborating with Keeravani for all of his films with all heroes from early 90’s since they started their journey after Raghavendra Rao stopped working with Ilayaraja has he found Keeravani, a telugu young upcoming talent that time.

Now, Koratala Siva and Devi Sri Prasad is a combination with three of their films becoming blockbusters and director annoucing that DSP is part of his core team. Sai Karthik is one young music director who raced to 50 films threshold by working for medium budget films predominantly and giving some chartbusters among them. His success can be attributed to films like Pataas which gave him much needed commercial break to become even more famous. The director of the film, Anil Ravipudi made it a point that he once again collaborates with the young composer for his Supreme and the songs, like Bellam Sridevi, Supreme hero remix, became chartbusters. Continuing the tradition, the director for his third film with Ravi Teja is collaborating with Sai Karthik and the duo have started working on tunes already it seems. Even Ravi Teja encouraged SS Thaman by giving him more films than any hero and with this film he will have a new music composer for his film in Sai Karthik.
