Mega hero Sai Dharam Tej’s new film, Republic was supposed to hit the screens this month itself. But due to the ongoing Covid lockdown, the film has been postponed indefinitely.
Meanwhile, the latest we hear is that the popular entertainment sector Zee group has bagged the film’s entire rights which includes digital, theatrical and satellite rights of the movie by offering a solid price. An official confirmation regarding the same is expected to be out soon. It is well-known that the Zee group has acquired the total rights of Sai Tej’s Solo Bathuke So Better earlier.
Coming back to Republic, the film has been directed by Deva Katta. Senior producers Bhagwan and Pullarao bankrolled the film under JB Entertainments banner. Aishwarya Rajesh is the female lead in Republic and has Ramya Krishna and Jagapathi Babu in key roles. Mani Sharma is the film’s music composer.
