Documentary filmmaker Sai Chand’s contribution to Sekhar Kammula’s Fidaa was huge. He played the role of Sai Pallavi’s father and was perfect in the role. Sources have informed that the actor, will be seen playing Sai Pallavi’s father once again.
For Venu Udugula’s upcoming film, which is said to be titled Virata Parvam 1992, the actor has been roped in. He will be playing Sai Pallavi’s father in this film too. The film, which is reportedly a fictionalised version of true incidents that took place in the 90s set amid a naxalite backdrop has Rana Daggubati as the lead actor.
It is also said that Tabu will be playing a key role in this film. An official confirmation is awaited. Venu Udugula has earlier directed Needi Naadi Oke Katha and it was a hit. In fact it was his first film and he managed to do it really well.
