Sai Abhyankkar has opened up about the music change in Suriya’s film Karuppu directed by RJ Balaji. Initially A.R. Rahman was supposed to compose the music but Sai later replaced him creating curiosity among fans.
Sai said he was unaware of Rahman’s involvement when he got the offer. After learning about it, he personally spoke to Rahman, who supported him.
Sai admitted he was confused after seeing Rahman’s name on the poster but didn’t get a clear explanation.
Still he accepted the project with responsibility after the team trusted him. He also praised Rahman as inspiring and humble.
Karuppu is a rural action entertainer releasing on May 14th, starring Suriya, Trisha and Yogi Babu, with high expectations.
