Sadhguru Speaks On Ranbir Kapoor’s Rama Role

Social media trolling has become common and many actors face criticism. Recently Ranbir Kapoor was trolled for his look as Lord Rama in Ramayana, which got mixed reactions.

Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev, founder of Isha Foundation shared his thoughts saying, “Playing Lord Rama is a rare chance. An actor must transform for the role”.

“In Tollywood, people once worshipped NTR as Krishna because he played that role in many films and even won elections with that image”.

He added, “We expect gentleness from someone playing Rama. If the actor absorbs Rama’s qualities, it’s wonderful. It’s unfair to troll Ranbir, he’s just being professional. A film succeeds because of the audience, so their expectations matter”.

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Ramayana stars Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, Sunny Deol and Yash, and releases during Diwali 2026.
