Sachin Sanghvi the music director and one half of the composer duo Sachin-Jigar, has been accused of sexual harassment by a 29 year old woman.
According to reports the complainant alleged that Sanghvi sexually assaulted her after promising her a role in a music video and even marriage. Following the FIR, Sachin was taken into custody but later released on bail.
Sachin’s lawyer, Aditya Mithe called the allegations “baseless and unsubstantiated” claiming that his client detention was illegal and that they intend to defend the case fully.
Sachin has not made any public statement yet. This is not the first time a movie project has faced such controversy.
As we all know choreographer Jani Master was accused of sexual assault by a former assistant later confessed and was granted bail under conditions.
