Actress Saba Azad has responded to a troll who said Hrithik Roshan’s girlfriend doesn’t need to work. Calling it “deep-seated sexism,” Saba said such comments reflect society’s mindset.
Although she and Hrithik have never openly confirmed their relationship rumors about them continue to make headlines.
Earlier this year, Saba had already hit back at the same troll, and now, in a new interview she explained why.
She said, “The moment you stand next to a man, your identity gets diluted. It’s tragic, and it comes from deep-rooted sexism even among so-called progressive people. At the end of the day we all need to work and earn. What do you think is happening here?”
Saba also expressed disappointment that veteran actress Soni Razdan is often reduced to being called Mahesh Bhatt’s wife despite her rich film career with classics like Mandi, Daddy and Party.
