Saaho

Prabhas is a pan India star now and all his films are awaited with utmost curiosity. Saaho is one such film which has raised a lot of craze with its teasers. The film has made its way to the big screens today and read on to see how the film turns out to be.

Story: Huge robberies keep happening in the crime filled Waaji City. To nab the criminals, an undercover cop played by Prabhas is brought into action. But the twist in the game arises when the cops find out that Prabhas itself is the big thief. What did Ashok aka Prabhas steal from the businessmen of Waaji city. What’s his relation with all of them is the crux of the story.

Performances: Prabhas is only good in the action part but sleep walks in his role. He look lazy, dull and out of shape with his look in the film. Shraddha Kapoor is the best of the lot as she is lovely and does action in a superlative manner.

Chunkey Pandey as the dreaded gangster is very good in the film. His look and cunning attitude has been. Showcased well in the movie. Arun Vijay gets some good elevation shots in the film.

Vennela Kishore was just about okay. Mandira Bedi was good and so were the rest of the cast like Mahesh Manjrekar and Murali Sharma.

Analysis: Sujeeth is just one film old and got a golden opportunity of directing Prabhas after Baahubali. But the young kid loses out big time and makes a hash of the film. His screenplay is so bad that you wonder how he even convinced such big names to play big roles in the film.

He takes the film on a ride and narrates it in a very confusing manner. The audience keeps on waiting for some good scenes and action which is not at all shown in the first half. This part is dull boring and neglected.

The film is dubbed in Telugu in many scenes and this where things go down. There are many logics which the film misses in many areas. Fans of Prabhas will be happy but that will not be the case with general audience.

BGM is good and action showcased in the last half an hour is very good. But to watch that one needs to sit through the dull proceedings till the pre climax.

So knowing all this, one needs to be ready for what is coming in as Prabhas has impressed his fans but not the regular movie goer with Saaho.
