RX100 beame a surprise blockbuster for many trade experts. As critics panned the film, many expected the movie to end up collecting somewhere around 3.5 to 4.5 crores, which still makes it a big hit. But the movie is performing beyond expectations and it became a blockbuster by first weekend collections only.
Even after release of a film like Lover, the movie did not lose out on buzz and the talk in Telugu states is still high. Movie collected a total of Rs. 8.41 Crores, till now and on Saturday, Sunday the advance bookings are already high. Indu and Shiva have become kind of everyday names in conversations of youth and the movie impact even though not as high as Arjun Reddy, still seems to last for few more years.
