Ace director SS Rajamouli’s pre-independence patriotic drama, RRR won two more prestigious awards. Reportedly, the film won Best Foreign Language Film and the Best Original song awards at the Critics Choice Awards 2023.
Featuring Junior NTR and Ram Charan in the lead roles, RRR was nominated along with the Golden Globe winner, “Argentina, 1985”, All Quiet on the Western Front, Decision to Leave, Close and Bardo, False Chronicle of a Handful of Truths and won the Critics Choice Award 2023 in the Best Foreign Language Film category.
On the other hand, the highly popular Naatu Naatu song from RRR which recently won The Golden Global Award was nominated with Carolina – Where the Crawdads Sing, Ciao Papa- Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio, Hold My Hand– Top Gun: Maverick, Lift Me Up – Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, and New Body Rhumba– White Noise at the Critics Choice Awards 2023 and emerged as the winner.
