RRR to go for phase by phase approach!

Director SS Rajamouli, who is making Telugu Cinema’s biggest multi-starrer, RRR which is also Indian’s biggest budget movie till date, has taken a decision to start shooting of his film from October. He wanted to wait for some more time but as he can understand the pressure his team members must be facing to join other projects in the meantime, he has taken a decision to start the shoot sooner. Sources say that the shoot will happen in a phase by phase manner. That is, schedules that focus on one lead actor among Jr. NTR and Ram Charan will finish first. Then, the other actor will finish his portions, individually.

During these days, huge sequences won’t be shot and only simple close-up shots, reactions, conversations with less number of cast members will be shot with a limited crew. After this, in the next phase, few more actors will join the leads to finish songs, action portions individually. In the last phase, the biggest portions of the left over action sequences and shots that involve both the two leads and remaining cast members ensemble will be shot. Rajamouli hopes by the time, they go into this phase, he can operate with as bigger crew and cast he can hire, without any pandemic scare.

All these phases will be completed by the end of April, if no complications arise. From April or May, both the lead actors can join other films and their portions from RRR will be completed at high priority. Once he completes the entire project, the team will announce the release date that will be feasible for a Pan-India release in theatres.
