Director Rajamouli’s upcoming film, RRR, featuring Ram Charan as Alluri Sitaramaraju and NTR as Komaram Bheem, is one of the most highly anticipated films of the year, with the expectations on the film being very high.
The film got postponed several times due to the coronavirus pandemic. The film is currently scheduled to release on October 13th, and there were several rumours and speculations that the film’s release would further be postponed due to the second wave of coronavirus. However, the film’s release is taking place as per schedule, with the team of RRR all set to begin their promotions from August 1st, with a special promotional song.
In the meantime, it is being said that the main reason that no other major films are taking a call on their release dates is because of RRR’s release. It is being said that there’s still no certainty over the release of RRR and that filmmakers are scared that their release date will clash with RRR’s release date and that they don’t want to risk that. Moreover, it is being said that filmmakers are not even interested in releasing their films anywhere near the release date for RRR’s, as they feel that their films will be overshadowed.
