RRR the biggest film from Indian Cinema in terms of budget and magnitude, has been postponed already from the announced release date, 30th July 2020 to 8th January, 2021. The movie directed by SS Rajamouli post Baahubali and with Jr. NTR, Ram Charan as leads for the first time in a film together, cannot afford to miss the new date, it seems. Along with financial difficulties, another postponement could mean that the buzz for the film all over the Nation could decrease. While the extraordinary situation has resulted in them to halt the progress of the filming, they haven’t stopped work, altogether. From their respective homes, the director and music director, MM Keeravani have been composing tunes for OST, that is, background score.
Once, the lockdown is over they will record by taking all the necessary precautions in their studios, it seems. This way, they are saving time and the working period is not going to be extended beyond acceptable limits. Also, some 20 to 30 days shooting is only left to be completed for the film to be sent to different VFX studios for pending scenes, it seems. Most crucial and biggest action sequences have already been shot and their VFX work will proceed from where they have left once lockdown period is over. VFX studios in the counties where lockdown is not applied, are working on the output say few sources, but we cannot confirm that.
Once Alia Bhatt portions are shot, only two songs are left to be completed, it seems. Plans are being made to finish them sooner and concentrate on post production works to meet the 8th January, deadline without any further delays, say sources. Let’s hope that will be the case.
