The perception around RRR changed since the time Rajamouli announced the film with NTR and Ram Charan in the lead roles, with DVV Danayya set to produce the film. What once was considered to be a sort of fairytale by some, is now being considered as a living nightmare, considering the number of times the film has been delayed, and the number of times the film’s release has been postponed.
Had everything gone according to plan, then RRR would have been released across the country today, but due to the spreading of the Omicron variant of the coronavirus variant, the film’s release has been pushed to a later date. The team of RRR is currently said to be paying off their debts and the advances that they have received, ahead of the anticipated release of the film on January 7th.
After clearing all the expenses, the makers have Rs 180 crores of finance which is yet to be cleared. The producer, DVV Danayya had been taking care of all the financial matters so far, but Rajamouli is said to have stepped in now, offering to clear off some debts. On the other hand, the next release date of RRR is yet to be announced.
