RRR, the prestigious project under the direction of Rajamouli is in making for the past two years or so. In March 2020, the film’s shooting was stalled due to Covid first wave lockdown.
Later, in October 2020, the film resumed its shooting and Rajamouli even canned a few crucial sequences. Currently, the film’s massive climax block is being picturized with the lead cast and hundreds of junior artists.
Meanwhile, the latest news is that the film’s shooting is stalled due to the widespread Corona second wave cases across the country. Sources reveal that considering the safety of the crew members, Rajamouli has decided to halt the shooting for the time being.
Starring NTR and Ram Charan in the lead roles, RRR also features Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Shriya Saran, Irish actors Ray Stevenson, Alison Dobby, Olivia Morris, Kollywood actor Samuthirakani among others in prominent roles. DVV Danayya is bankrolling this magnum opus with a staggering Rs 400 crore budget.
Considering the above scenario, will the film meet the already announced October 13th release date deadline? Remains to be seen.
