Director Rajamouli’s upcoming film, RRR, with NTR and Ram Charan in the lead roles, who will be seen playing Komaram Bheem and Alluri Sitaramaraju respectively, is geared up to release on January 7, 2022. Everything has been made ready for the film’s release, and the promotions for the film are also being done on a grand level.
While everyone now awaits the release of the film, it is being said that Rajamouli is considering postponing the release of the film. This is considering the fact that Omicron is spreading fast in India, and restrictions are being put up in several places in North India. The North Indian market is a highly crucial one, as, without it, a film like RRR would not be profitable.
It is being said that theatres would be allowed only 50% capacity in some places, while night curfews are being planned to be put up as well, effective from 9 PM. This would mean that two shows would be at a loss. As a result, Rajamouli is expected to take a decision on whether or not RRR should be released on January 7th.
