Maverick director SS Rajamouli’s prestigious project, RRR’s shooting halted during its final leg due to the sudden spike in the Corona second wave cases. Earlier, this year the makers have announced that the film will hit the screens on October 13, 2021.
But as an unexpected scenario, the film’s shooting was stalled and there is no clue on when the Covid situation returns to normalcy. Now, this has been rising new doubts on the film’s release.
A couple of weeks back, speaking to an international Newspaper, Tarak said that the team is still looking at the October release date. But on the other hand, buzz has been circulating that the film is likely to postpone to summer 2022.
Now, the fresh grapevine is that the team is looking at the possibilities of releasing the film during Sankranthi 2022. However, an official confirmation regarding RRR’s release date is expected to be out soon.
While NTR and Ram Charan are doing the lead roles, Bollywood stars Ajay And Alia Bhatt will be seen in prominent roles in this pan-Indian project. Also starring a few foreign artists, RRR is being bankrolled by DVV Danayya under his DVV Entertainments banner. MM Keeravaani is the film’s music director.
