SS Rajamouli’s recently released film, RRR, featuring NTR and Ram Charan in the lead roles, is doing wonders at the box office, bringing the Indian audience to the theatres in large numbers, for the first time since the pandemic. The film is having a dream run at the box office and is expected to go strong, until at least for the next couple of weeks.
It recently came to be known that the film would be available for streaming after completing 75 days in theatres, and Pen Studios, which bought the non-theatrical rights of the film, sold the rights to various parties in different languages. According to the latest reports, the makers of RRR are said to be planning a different strategy for the streaming release of RRR.
The makers are said to be of the opinion to release the film on a pay per view basis for the initial few weeks, post which they intend to stream the film for free on the respective streaming platforms. It is now to be seen what will happen in the end.
