The IMDB list is the most trusted list in the world when it comes to movie rankings, as this is not done based on any logistics or statistics but is done purely based on the audience’s response to a film. The IMDB released the list of the top 10 most popular films in India this year, and Kashmir Files tops the list.
The Kashmir Files, directed by Vivek Agnihotri, which covers the mass genocide of Kashmiri Hindus in the 1990s, became a massive hit in the country this year and was a surprise hit as well. In the second position came Prashanth Neel’s KGF Chapter 2, which was followed by Rajamouli’s RRR, both of which have minted huge money at the worldwide box office.
Alia Bhatt’s Gangubai Kathiawadi, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, came fourth, followed by Kamal Haasan’s Vikram in the 5th position, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, in which Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil were also seen.
