Under veteran director K Raghavendra Rao’s directional supervisor, Srikanth and Ooha’s son Roshan’s debut film, Pelli SandaD is the lead role and had a theatrical release on October 15th as a Dussehra festival special. Directed by Gowri Ronanki, the film has received poor feedback from the critics and audience but cashing in on the festival day release, the film has generated good revenues on its first day by exceeding the trade expectations.

As per the reports, Pelli SandaD has collected Rs 2.65 crore gross with a share of Rs 1.54 crore on its first day in twin Telugu states. Reportedly, including rest of the India and rest of the world collections, Pelli SandaD has collected a decent gross of Rs 2.80 crore on the opening day.

As per the trade reports, Pelli SandaD should collect more than Rs 7 crore share to emerge as a successful film. Will the film manage to maintain the same momentum further also? Remains to be seen.
